TTD Chairman appointed by the TDP Government said that right now Cow ghee is being used for the preparation of TTD Laddu. TTD needs cow Ghee in tankers for daily use and it is a huge quantity.
He said that there is no proper way to judge the quality of the right ghee for the TTD. An expert committee has been appointed to take the right ghee from the right sellers or producers.
TTD Chief addressed the media after the CM pointed out that fatty animal oils were earlier used by the Jagan Government in the Laddu.
This spoiled the taste of laddu apart from the Aroma .
TTD has already told the suppliers of ghee to improve the quality. Some suppliers are not up to the mark he agreed. Some suppliers have already been blacklisted for supplying impure and adulterated ghee he explained.
New tenders will be called for Ghee supply he stated. This will improve the quality of Ghee he said. A permanent lab will be in place on TTD for the testing of ghee on a daily basis he explained.
