Taraka Rama Rao the working president of the TRS is all set to take up the membership drive in the state and he is taking over as the president on Monday officially. Apart from taking up the membership drive, he wants to appoint committees at all levels.
All these years the party has been running on sentiment and in the name of achieving statehood to Telangana. But now KTR wants to see that the youth get involved with the party at all levels. Maybe he is with the idea that there should be representation from the booth level to the state level. He wants to fix the responsibility at all levels so that it becomes easy for the Panchayat and also the parliament elections.
Apart from this KTR is likely to tour the districts so that he would cover the length and breadth of the state in the process of campaigning for the elections. He is taking the advice of the Secretary-General K Kesava Rao on various aspects.
Youth from the districts are expected to come to Hyderabad and there will be a lot of activity on Monday when KTR would officially take over as the TRS working President. The women will also have the representation in a big way at all levels it is reported.
