Sitara Entertainment has done with Bheemla Naik, DJ Tillu and now they are planning for another remake. At the same time now Sitara under the guidance of Trivikram is distributing RRR in Australia. It is like taking a little risk.
Sitara Entertainments’ banner that has been busily producing several films is now stepping into the overseas distribution business as well. Sithara has procured the Australian rights for the film RRR at a price of Rs 6.5 Cr.
Sitara has only produced films. Though the banners had a good network with local distributors they never stepped into that segment. But it is becoming official now with RRR.
Producer Naga Vamshi of Sitara banner said that he has made an agreement with RRR only on an obligation but not with an idea to step into the distribution business.
But RRR distributors are saying that Australian Rights were sold to Naga Vamshi as he has shown interest. This is another way of making a fast buck.
They made money with straight movies. Sitara earned money with remakes and now they are into distribution.
