James bond, yes we are talking about the senior bond not the latest one. He is in for pomoting indian products. He looked old in his greay beard and not the usual young bond look of his english movies. But it was a class one.
People were surpsied to see Bond launching panbahar Pan masala. They could not believe it. Indians woke up to an entertaining surprise as not only the front page of their newspapers but also the internet was bombarded with Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan’s face. Now, it wasn’t actually the British spy James Bond’s elegant face that caught everyone’s attention but what the actor held in his hand.
Dressed in his usual tuxedo, flaunting his perfect white beard, the former James Bond, who defined class in the most sophisticated way for many years, is seen endorsing Pan Bahar while the text below reads, “Class never goes out of style” with his signature at the end.
This is for the first time that the Hollywood sensation has endorsed an Indian brand and watching him sell pan masala didn’t go down with his fans, who took to Twitter to express their shock, surprise and awe.
The netizens just couldn’t resist poking fun at the star. The people who chose him for the advertisement should have given a thought about it. Can bond represent all sections of the society. Or will it just percolate into the higher class only.
Will it be confined to the suit boot people only. Pan masala is a product whic h sells not with the class but with the masses. The advertisment makers should have thought about this.
But one way bond is a mass man. People have been watching Bond movies in India also to a greate extent. They know him. But what made him to do this advertisement is a different matter and only Bond should be able to answer this question.
