After K T Rama Rao the IT Minister, it is Harish Rao the Minister for Finance who is supporting the cause of the employees of Vizag steel plant.
Harish Rao targeted the BJP government over its decision to privatise the public sectors. The BJP, which has privatised the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) is privatizing the companies one after the other he stated.
Why should we remain silent on the Vizag Steel Plant row?. Going by their spree of privatising the Public Sector Undertaking companies, the Centre is now gearing up for privatising the Vizag Steel Plant.
The Centre will privatise the Singareni Collieries Company and other companies in Telangana also if we are silent, Harish Rao said.
The same opinion was expressed by KTR also.
If needed KTR is ready for going to Visakhapatnam and participate in the protests along with the employees.
Harish Rao is also stressing the same opinion of the IT Minister that, if they remain silent on the issues in Andhra Pradesh, no one will come for them if the same happens to Telangana state.
However, the opposition parties in Telangana are finding fault with the TRS for responding to issues in Andhra Pradesh.
