Since the last several decades, the political parties have been giving notes for the people to vote for them. There are people in the rural areas who just think that one has to vote after taking money from the political parties. The instances of people not going for voting came to light as they openly told the media that they were not going for voting as they were not paid this time.
Putting an end to all these speculations, Congress leader from Rajasthan the young Sachin pilot is online seeking funds from the public in open. He is ready to take donations online or in person from Rs 100 to Rs 25000. Sachin is asking for votes and notes openly. The Congress party has been facing severe funds crunch from since last 5 years as they have been losing power one state after the other.
The fund crunch is also one of the main reasons that the Congress was losing the elections. In Gujarat and Karnataka, it could give a tough fight to the BJP, even though they were facing the money issue.
One has to see how the people would react to the call of Sachin for seeking funds from the public. People know that they get money for voting. But now they have to give donations for the Congress in Rajasthan. On the other hand, the political parties have been asked by the CEC to give details on funds collections. The BJP was the richest party who collected good election fund.
It is reported that all big business people have stopped giving funds to the Congress party as they are not in power and no hopes that they would come to power in the future.
