Sharmila the daughter of YSR and sister of YS Jagan has complained to the CP that her name was dragged unnecessarily into the websites linking up Prabhas the Baahubali star. She along with her wife Anil went to the CP office and made a formal complaint which was publicised by all the TV channels.
Sharmila complained that she was maligned by the website and that was provoked by the TDP leaders.
This was due to political reasons she opined. The police took up the matter immediately and identified 12 websites and are now locating the people who have posted the items against Sharmila linking Prabhas. The websites and the people behind these sites will get legal notices.
While all the websites may not have posted the items directly, there is a chance that some others might have copied the content taking the lead from other sites for getting readership in the name of cheap gossip. But one way or the other it is like defaming the lady. But as a matter of fact, Sharmila clarified that she never met Prabhas or spoke to him. It is the TDP which is maligning her Sharmila claimed in the complaint that she made to the CP. She said that it was being done to defame her for political reasons as the elections were round the corner.
