Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief stated that nothing can save Modi the Prime Minister from the Rafale scam. Soon after the reinstatement of CBI Chief, Alok Varma, Rahul said that the CBI chief was unceremoniously removed in the midnight at 1 am for probing the Rafale deal. He said that Prime Minister Modi was directly responsible for the Rafale scam and no one was consulted on that account. Nothing will save the Prime Minister he said.The Supreme court today set aside orders of the CVC and reinstated the CBI Chief. But he cannot take any major policy decisions.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that sending the CBI officers on leave was taken by the Government on the recommendation of the CVC. He said that the Supreme Court verdict on the reinstatement of the CBI chief will be followed. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi has been making statements left and right against the PM Modi and his involvement in the Rafale scam. He also commented in the Parliament that Modi is unable to look into his eyes as the PM was directly responsible for the rafale scam and that the Rakhsa Mantri Nirmala Seetharaman was not involved.
