The latest film from Vijay Devarkaonda is more or less a hit according to the Preliminary reports. It is different from his regular romantic movies. The easy going guy of Geeta Govindam has turned pretty serious in the political movie. The first half is excellent according to the moviegoers who were on twitter and the second half is somewhat slow by decent enough.
Vijay gets another hit in a row and it was released in both the languages. Some have stated that it is a hatrick hit for Vijay. Most of the reports are positive from America also, but they opined that the director should have improved the second part after the Interval. It is directed by Anand Shankar of Irumagan fame. Mehreen Pirzada is the leading lady.
The rowdy star has done well as the CM of the state is the majority opinion. The Music by Sam CS is also good it is reported. The story suits the present day politics and it is like a slap on the corrupt and selfish politicians. Overall it is a different movie and worth watching. The Press conference scene is one of the highlights of the movie.
But one has to appreciate the guts of the director and producer for making a movie on the flaws in the present political system.
