Not more than 10 challans: Traffic police

Traffic Police detained certain vehicles which had more than 100 pending challans based on various traffic rule violations booked against them. The penalty amount runs into thousands of rupees.

If the pending challans are not cleared by the concerned vehicle owner, charge sheet will be submitted in the court and the court may imprison the person.

That would help them to go through the type of violation they have committed, the correctness of the challan, evidence etc. If they have any doubts, questions regarding the challans, they can submit an appeal to the Traffic officers online or offline.
