There are reports that things are not falling in line for Chirnajeevis’ upcoming movies. The next release from Chinrajeevi is Godfather. It is a remake and the director is not that big for this movie.
With a disaster called Acharya, the market of Chiranjeevi has gone down. He has to salvage his image with God Father. But it is not a straight movie.
He has involved people like Salman Khan in this movie. This also gave chance to speculation that Chiranjeevi’s market has come down and he is forced to add Salman for the movie.
Chiru is currently busy settling the amounts for Acharya. He will be working for Godfather, the Telugu remake of Lucifer. He is also working on Bholaa Shankar, which is the remake of the Tamil film, Vedhalam.
With this remake-heavy lineup, Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming filmography doesn’t look all that promising, opine netizens. Telugu Twitter users are commenting that Chiranjeevi’s lineup is a bland one and even if these remakes work in the domestic market, they might not make it big overseas.
The lack of star director value for Chiranjeevi’s films is also a matter of concern here. He is working with Meher Ramesh, Mohan Raja, and also Bobby. There isn’t too much promise on this front.
So as it appears, Chiranjeevi’s overseas market is indeed in trouble and he has to do a lot of marketing and publicity for the coming movies.
