(BJP), Bihar Chief Minister on Monday said that no person or political party is capable of challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2019 general election.
“Given the current political scenario, no one can compete with Narendra Modi,” Nitish said at a press conference.
Talking about Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filing graft charges against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi, he explained that he had given Lalu Yadav ample opportunities to explain the charges of corruption against him, but to no avail.
If Lalu had explained himself over the corruption allegations, then the situation could have been different in Bihar, Nitish said..
