The Telangana Government has decided that the staff in registration offices will work on Saturday and Sunday also. Slot booking services for registration of non-agricultural properties were launched yesterday at 2pm by the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar as per the directions of CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Within 15 minutes of launch, 2 slots were booked.
Till 7pm in the evening, 37 slots were booked and about Rs. 85 lakhs were remitted towards applicable fees and duties. 17,567 persons have visited the site. 3987 users have registered on the system. 4143 transactions have been initiated.
The big advantage of this facility is that people can book slots online from any place. The slots can be booked through Mee-Seva centres also at Rs. 200/- for full transaction.
The system is very simple and there is a provision for the generation of deed document. A new window has been provided to builders and real estate developers to upload new properties in bulk.
Accordingly, 451 builders and developers have uploaded 93,874 properties. Local bodies have generated 12,699 t-PINS so far. These properties are likely to come for transactions shortly.
