In connection with Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti on April 5 and 6 at Tirumala, APSRTC will operate buses to transport pilgrims to Papavinasanam Dam and back within Tirumala on these two days.
Due to parking space restrictions, private taxis or own vehicles will not be allowed to Papavinasanam Dam.
Therefore, the devotees and taxi drivers are requested to make note of this and co-operate with TTD.On the auspicious occasion of the mega religious event of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa District on April 5, TTD has come out with a series of religious, traditional, cultural and devotional events on the day.
As a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams at Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Ramalayam, the event will take place between 8pm and 10pm on April 5 at Kalyana Vedika. Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel of TTD will live telecast the State Festival of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam for the sake of global devotees.
In the evening between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, Sri Rama Namamritam, a devotional cultural programme will be presented by the artists of the Annamacharya Project, followed by Dance ballet by the students of SV College of Music and Dance under the supervision of the Principal Dr Uma Muddubala between 6.15pm and 7.45pm.
