No relief for Kejriwal

There is no relief for the AAP CM Kejriwal. Kejriwal is non-co-operative the ED has made a complaint to the Court.

The Court awarded no relief to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was sent to judicial custody till April 15 in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam.

The ED had asked for fifteen days of judicial custody of custody of Kejriwal, citing his ‘non-cooperative behaviour’. The CM was produced in Rouse Avenue Court as his custody ended on Monday.

Kejriwal has been governing Delhi from jail with his wife Sunita Kejriwal passing his orders to his Cabinet colleagues.

Sunita participated in the Opposition INDIA bloc rally where she referred to him as a “freedom fighter” and “sher (lion)” working for the people of Delhi even from jail.

She also read out six guarantees that Arvind Kejriwal wanted to make to the people of India if the Opposition alliance won the upcoming Lok Sabha elections: from electricity and schools to statehood for Delhi.
