With an aim to facilitate Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan to more common pilgrims, TTD has dispensed with all other formats of privileged Seva and Arjita Sevas from January 2 to 11, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
After a detailed review meeting with the senior officers of various departments at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday over the arrangements for the ensuing Vaikuntha Ekadasi Dwara Darshanam, the EO briefed the media on the important decisions.
The auspicious day of Vaikuntha Ekadasi occurs on January 2 and Vaikuntha Dwadasi on January 3 in 2023. But following the practice of opening the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan for ten days as in the last two years, TTD will enable the unique Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan till January 11.
After the early morning rituals including Tiruppavai, Dhanurmasa Kainkaryams, Bali, Sattumora Suddhi, First Bell etc.,the darshan will commence at 5am for common pilgrims. On a day, nearly 80thousand pilgrims will be provided Darshan.
TTD has dispensed with all privileged darshans while the Arjitha Seva will be observed in ekantam. Devotees having SRIVANI, SED tickets and SSD token holders will be provided with “Maha Laghu Darshan”(from Jaya-Vijaya) point only.
TTD will release 25000 tickets of Rs.300 SED every day and for these ten days 2.50lakhs tickets will be released on-line. All these tickets will be released while the online quota for the entire month of January 2023 is released on-line.
A total of five lakh tokens of SSD will be issued with 50,000 tokens on each day at ten venues with nine in Tirupati and one at Tirumala which is exclusively earmarked for Tirumala locals. Adhar card is mandatory to procure tickets to avoid duplication.
The nine places where SSD tokens will be issued will be divided into two clusters and each one will be under the supervision of JEO Tirupati and JEO Education respectively. While the CVSO in coordination with the District authorities will ensure security measures at all points.
Every day 2000 SRIVANI tickets will be released online during these ten days. Every day 2000 donors shall also book their darshan quota online.
Only Self-Protocol VIPs alone will be allotted darshan tickets and no recommendation letters will be entertained for Vaikuntha Ekadasi.
Advance booking of accommodation will be canceled from December 29 to January 3 in view of New Year, Vaikuntha Ekadasi, and Dwadasi.
