Mahesh Babu is playing the role of Chief Minister in Bharat Ane Nenu. Talking to the media in the promotions of the movie Mahesh Babu clarified that politics is not his cup of tea and that will never enter the political arena. His brother-in-law Galla Jaydev is an MP from Telugu Desam party. His Uncle is with the Congress party and now Mahesh is acting as the Chief Minister.
But he is not at all interested in politics. His father Krishna was with the Congress party for some time and his brother Naresh was with the BJP for some time.
But except Galla, no one is active in politics now. Mahesh said that the film deals with various issues of the public and it has a message.
Koratala Siva directed the movie. Kaira Advani is the leading lady with Mahesh and Devi Sri Prasad has given the music for Bharat Ane nenu. It may be noted that Mahesh did not campaign for Galla earlier when Galla contested on TDP ticket from Guntur. That is the way Mahesh wants to stay away from politics.
