No petition filed today

“MLC Kavithat today clarified that she has not filed any petition before the Supreme Court pertaining to the liquor case.The petition filed earlier would come up for inquiry on 24th she stated.

Earlier she wrote :I, therefore have reasons to believe and a grave apprehension that the inquiry/investigation being carried out may not have the sanctity of law and my expectation of a free, fair or impartial inquiry or investigation has been severely impaired,” wrote Kavitha in her letter citing her complaints which led her to approach the Supreme Court.

The matter earlier was mentioned before Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud who refused an immediate hearing and posted the matter on March 24.

Kavitha, who is the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao, was questioned by the agency on March 11 and is required to appear again on Thursday.

Kavitha has approached the Supreme Court saying as per norms a woman cannot be summoned for questioning before ED in office and her questioning should take place at her residence.

Now the matter is pending for 24th.
