No Governors speech for this Budget session?

Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided that there will be no speech by Governor Tamilisai for the ensuing Budget session it is learnt.

But the Governor is going to read the copy given by the State Government. We have to see how the Governor is going to react to this. People say that the suggestion to avoid the Governor speech was given by poll strategist Prashant Kishore.

It may be recalled that the Ministers abstained from greeting the Governor at Medaram Jathara. She was not given the Helicopter to visit the Jathara.

It is reported that the Governor has been quoting the Central Government and also the PM Modi in her speeches which is not agreeable to the state Government.

This comes as a big surprise in the political circles. Harish Rao the Finance Minister will present the Budget on day one of the Assembly.

There is no example where the Budget was presented avoiding the Governors speech. The same information has already been given to the Rajbhavan it is learnt.

The State Assembly Budget sessions would be held from March 7 (Monday). Meanwhile, the CM decided to convene a State Cabinet meeting on March 6th (Sunday) for approval of the State Budget.

The Finance Minister would introduce the Budget in the House on March 7. The Business Advisory The committee (BAC) would decide about the duration of the Session.
