The girls are in great demand in India and especially in the Brahmin families. Even other castes the parents of the girls are dictating to the boys parents. Earlier the girls parents used to pay huge sums of money and also provide vehicle, gold property etc for the boy. But now the role has reversed.
The girls are demanding boys with a huge salary. They are seeing if the boy has a property at-least a own house. They are preferring boys with no parents. So match making for a boy is difficult these days.
On the other hand there was a great demand for the boys working in USA earlier. Some girls were interested in getting married to boys in USA so that they can go to US and liver for the rest of their life.
Thanks to US President Donald Trump and his policies. The parents in India now are not interested in sending their girls to USA.
The Trump rule has managed to reverse a trend that not even recession could – the demand for NRI grooms. Following sporadic incidents of violence and hate crimes against Indians in America, in the wake of Trump’s call to reclaim American jobs for the Americans, parents of prospective brides are not too keen on marrying their daughters off to those settled in the US.
It is reported that the girl who got married recently and are in US are calling their parents and they want to return back. Even the boys side parents are calling them to return back with the family. There is unrest in Universities also it is reported. Students who left for USA in the recent times are not sure, if they would get any job opportunity.
They want to come back. Lets hope that the local job market grows on par with US.
