There is very little demand for BJP tickets in the state of Telangana when compared to the Congress and BRS. The BRS gave tickets to the sitting members and there is no issue as such.
But there is a huge demand for Congress tickets and Gandhibhavan has troublemakers all the time creating a ruckus for tickets. Even after allegations of ticket selling by the PCC chief, the demand is going on.
The Congress wants to repeat the Karnataka story here rin Telangana. When it comes to BJP all the leaders are getting the tickets to contest. BJP Telangana Chief and Union Minister Kishan Reddy is contesting from Amberpet.
He might contest for the MP seat again next year. Earlier he lost from Amberpet and won from Secunderabad as an MP. Vishweshar Reddy the former TRS MP is contesting for the Assembly.
There are no 119 candidates for the Assembly for BJP. There is a talk that Congres may sweep in Khammam and also Nalgonda. Some heavyweights of the BRS may also lose the election they say.
But all said and done the BRS will have the edge on the Congress with all the ruling party facilities.There is a lot of Euphoria that the Congress party would win the elections.
But the BRS is confident of making a hatrick. KCR is of the opinion that they will win with the welfare measures that they are implementing for the poor people.
Today Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are doing a bus yatra for the Congress party. KTR,KCR,Harish are already pounding the districts with road shows.
This is a tough election for the BRS for the first time. Earlier they won the election easily.
