Brushing aside the allegations by TDP Spokesperson Sri Anam Venkatramana Reddy, the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy affirmed that the administrative mechanism in TTD is absolutely transparent.
The EO said he is fit to hold the post of TTD EO as a senior Civil officer of the 1991 batch of IDES, I had discharged services as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Union Government which is equivalent to the rank of the Principal Secretary cadre in the State Government that is above the cadre of Collector and is eligible to hold the post of JEO, Additional EO and EO.
“IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and IDES are considered as top ranks in Civils and I am now equal to the rank of Special Chief Secretary cadre as I have completed 33 years of my service”, he asserted.
He also said, Naveen Kumar Reddy in his WP no.15471 in 2022 challenged his post as EO and the High Court has given judgement in my favour after thoroughly verifying my eligibility for the post.
Reacting strongly upon the allegations of criminal cases against him, he said in his earlier capacity as CEO of Delhi Cantonment in 2014 he had taken action on illegal constructions in the Cantonment area. A private case was filed against him in 2020. The court had issued only summons and even recently stay orders were also issued.
Commenting on the allegations of corruption, the TTD EO said in the last four and a half years in his tenure, he has brought several reforms, which had increased the revenue of TTD by leaps and bounds.
With the introduction of SRIVANI Trust, the Dalari and middlemen menace came to an end and today Rs. 1021 crores have been collected in this Trust. The funds are being utilised to construct temples at backward areas, he added.

The major initiatives being the improvement of BIRRD Hospital, establishment of Sri Padmavati Childrens’ Heart Care with world-class medical treatment with heart ailments where in so far 2000 operations and eight heart transplants performed free of cost, renovation of SVIMS won appreciation besides the face lift of SV Museum with 135 crore, renovation of Alipiri Footpath route and many more.
