Rumours spread like a wild fire and there was news that a Cheetah was moving in the area of Gachbowli and that it has lifted a stray dog from the area.
The forest officers who looked at the cameras have clarified that there was no Cheetah in the area and there were no pub marks also. The alarm was given by a security god, who could not identify the animal properly.
The camera grabbed the visual of a stray dog which was above average and looked a big cat from behind. However, the forest officials are not taking any chance and they are still reviewing the camera grabs and are on the look out for the said Cheetah.
The forest rangers will be scanning the area for another two days and they would see if there is any Cheetach as complained by the security guard.
It may be noted that the tiger which has been killing people in Adilabad is still at large. It is yet to be trapped. The adivasis challenged the forest rangers that they would catch the tiger if the officers failed to do so.
Even in Hyderabad a tiger was caught by the forest ranger in and around the area of Hyderabad university.
