The much talked about IKEA stores meant for selling furniture also started a 1000 seater food joint. It was selling Biryani Samosa coffee and other things. But a caterpillar was found in the Veg Biryani and it was fined for Rs 11500 for the same mistake.
Now the IKEA stores has stopped selling the Veg Biryani and also samosas leaving the vegetarians high and dry.
The store managers said they follow certain guidelines and to maintain the quality and neatness in the restaurant they stopped selling Veg Biryani and also Samosa.
But the reality is that they sell more of Non- Veg stuff rather than veg stuff. Keeping that in mind in the name of the caterpillar and fine from GHMC they just stopped the veg biryani and also samosa. This stuff does not give them enough profit at all. The Non-veg stuff sells more and they get more profit from that.
Slowly the rush is coming down at the stores and not selling the furniture as expected earlier. They are creating an atmosphere as if there is a huge rush to the stores and demand for the products.
