Nithya was seen in the flashback portion of ‘Mersal’ which is set in the 1970’s. And, as it so happens, she is no stranger to period settings. Explaining her love for the ‘period stuff’, she said that she is fond of recreating retro looks. It has bee dubbed in Telugu as Adirindi.
“I really love doing the whole period drama stuff. Not just Mersal, some of my previous films like 24, Rudhramadevi involved quite a lot of dressing up to look the part in that time frame,” she added.
Nithya has done well in ‘Mersal’ and she impressed fans with her act. In case you did not know, ‘Mersal’ is touted to be an action-drama and has created a buzz amongst fans courtesy is promos.
In it, Nithya is seen alongside superstar Vijay. Besides Vijay-Nithya, the film also has Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead.
