Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present the second Budget of her career. She presenting the budget amidst slow down in the economy. The earlier budget has not yielded any desired results.
The new budget will concentrate on disinvestment and also creating wealth apart from Jobs. Wealth creation is the main theme of this budget and there could be some alterations also additions in the Income-tax slabs.
The Cabinet will approve the proposed budget. The target for a 5 trillion dollar economy. Nirmala Sitharaman has met President Ramnath Kovind before going to the parliament building for the cabinet approval of the Budget.
Congress leader Chidambaram has already commented that it is a Goli Maro budget. Unless and until the economy grows year on a year at about 9 per cent then only the said targets are achievable.
Even before the presentation of the budget, the opposition has started opposing it and also ridiculing it. The middle class may get some relief in the IT slabs it is expected.
Kejriwal the CM of Delhi said that he is expecting a good budget and better allocations for Delhi. Nirmala’s family members also arrived at the parliament to see her present the second budget.
