Nirmala Budget on Feb1

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the interim budget for 2024-25 on 1st February, marking the final annual financial statement of the Narendra Modi government aspiring for a third term.

The common man is expecting a lot of sops apart from the salaried class from Nirmala Sitharaman. Being the election time the Budget will be soft and more liberal the analysts expect.

This is the final budget of the Narendra Modi government’s second term. The upcoming budget is deemed ‘interim’ as the government faces a general election in April-May.

The full budget will be presented in July by the incoming government, whether a re-elected or new administration. In India, the financial year starts on April 1 and ends on March 31 the following year.

The Speaker Birla has convened a meeting of the all-party leaders to seek their cooperation for the ensuing Budget Session.

Now Nitish party will be supporting the Modi Government. YSRC Chief and AP CM Jagan will be meeting HM Shah and offering a RS seat for the BJP to save himself from the ED cases.
