Ms. S.Glory Swarupa, Director General by National Institute of Micro-, small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) has gladly stated that there is a tremendous response for the Job Mela organized by ni-msme campus today.
COVID-19 has created very unfavorable situation for the people of all walks of life and the jobseekers were also badly affected because several companies have run into losses and removed employees.
Infact, increased unemployment and dearth of skilled manpower in the market have encouraged ni-msme to conduct this job mela to support the job seekers and prospective companies.
35 companies including bakery, banking, Finance , Marketing, Manufacturing, ITeS, electronics, network, supply chain & transport , solid waste management have took part in the Job mela. 2500 unemployed youth have participated in the job mela, out of which half them are women.
The recruiters from IteS, Banking, manufacturing, Health care, Pharma and BPO have attracted majority of the job seekers. Proper arrangements have been made by ni-msme for the job seekers and recruiters to create a conducive atmosphere.
After cognizing the response for job Mela, ni-msme has further encouraged to conduct job Melas once in 6 months in future.
