The construction of the New state secretariat at Parade ground is going to be a reality soon it looks like. The meeting of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was fruitful with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and KCR is hopeful defence lands requested by the Government for the construction of the secretariat and also for the expansion of the roads will be cleared by the central government.
Apart from this KCR also asked for Navodya schools, the inclusion of the NAREGA under the state Government fold. The development of the zonal system in the newly formed districts apart from the devolution and decentralisation of power to a larger extent in the states.
KCR who sat with the PM for an hour was very happy and opined that most of the requests will be met by the central government for the development of Telangana. He also explained to the PM about the ongoing projects and also the projects that were completed in terms of the development of agriculture. He assured that the State Government was ready to contribute the share funds from its side along with the central funds.
