Revanth Reddy and Bhatti Vikramarka are said to be two names which have been finalised for the post of PCC Chief for the state of Telangana. After knowing these developments, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy today rushed to Delhi to try his luck.
The issue with the Congress leaders is that even Jagga Reddy from Sangareddy is interested in becoming the Chief for the party. But the leaders are arguing that only people who were loyal to the Congress must get the PCC post.
Revanth is from TDP, Jaggareddy has been through all the parties. There are few people who were with the Congress all the time. But caste and money play a dominant role in Telugu politics.
The High Command is bothered about reviving the party and also winning the election. They are not bothered about loyalty and royalty. It is reported that one of the aspirants has also assured that he was ready to spend so many crores for reviving the party in the state of Telangana.
The Congress is also looking at a leader who can take on the TRS in a dominant manner. Revanth has been vocal against the TRS but people did not take him seriously.
In a day or two the picture is going to be clear and the name will be announced.
