It looks like there is no dearth for Cinema producers and directors now. Gone are those days when someone used to take the lead and dictate the decision to be followed by others without any questions. But now there is a new crop of director and producers who would find fault with the decisions of the seniors. Whenever there is an issue, people look at D Ramanaiuds son Suresh babu, but there is this new breed who don’t agree with him.
Earlier there was this heavyweight called Dasari Narayana Rao who would issue a fatwa kind of decisions and people would blindly follow it and no questions asked. There are now around more than 1000 producers in the industry and to bring them under one roof is a herculean task for Suresh Babu. Taking this into account it is learnt that Suresh is trying to float a new body of producers who are very serious in nature and who live and breathe cinema.
If everything goes well this might happen very shortly. The industry is getting spoiled and getting a bad name due to some unserious producers who involve in other things. Earlier some heroes sat together and decided on a plan to contain media, but that was not possible. Now Producers are trying to form a separate body and one has to see how far they will succeed in the name of branding themselves as serious producers.
