For the first time in the country, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad with its standard working procedures has acquired ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards Certification from ASCB, U.K.
HYM International Certifications Pvt Ltd Accredited by ASCB(UK) recently conducted assessment of ISO 9001:2015 Certifications, with the team Members Sri T. Sundar Ramaiah (Rtd) Dist. Judge, Sri C. Madhu Babu, Auditor, Sri Sivaiah Alapati, Managing Director, life time Membership QCI.
The team conducted the audit in a phased manner and they expressed their satisfaction and happiness in the standards being followed in Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad particularly in fields of Sanitization, Food Processing, Animal Breeding, Zoo Hospital, Animal Care, Hygiene Maintenance and Establishment.
The working of the various wings is also observed by the team and they appreciated the efficiency, team work and commitment of all the staff which has raised the standards of Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad.
Transparency at all works, response to any emergency round the clock, and the standards being followed which fulfill the criteria for ISO certifications have inspired the team in conveying all the information and standards along with a strong recommendation for ISO certification of Zoo park.
It is very happy to note that Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad is indeed the first Zoo in the country to receive ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards Certificate.
The certificate was presented to the Minister for Forests . A. Indra Karan Reddy by Sri Sivaiah Alapati, Managing Director, life time Membership QCI. On this Occasion, the Minister appreciated the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests, Director & all the Zoo staff for their efforts which have awarded the ISO certificate for Quality Management Standards to Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad.
On this auspicious occasion, the Hon’ble Forest Minister announced the birth of Four white Tiger cubs born on Zoo day i.e., 6th October, 2020 and a Gaur (Indian Bison) (Shiva) born on 05.11.2020.
