The members of the opposition Harish, Akbaruddin, and Kunamneni requested the speaker to give time for the discussion after the Tea break. The speaker allowed for a tea break of thirty minutes for the members to get ready for the short discussion on finance in the state.
The Government is ready to give a white paper on the present state of finances in the state. Bhatti Vikramarka the minister for finance and deputy CM will present the situation and release the white papers.
Minister for Legislative Affairs Sridhar Babu opined that Harish Rao the former Minister who is a senior does not need any break and he knows about the state’s financial health.
The members also requested that the Speaker give time for protesting on various issues in the house. The ruling members also agreed that the members should have the right to protest.
The speaker gave a Tea break for thirty minutes so that the members could prepare for the short discussion on the state Finances. The state is already reeling under a debt of around 5 lakh crore it is reported.
The members will meet around 12 in noon today for the discussion. The Minister will brief on the financial condition of the state and later the members will start the discussion.
The BRS members also requested the Speaker to allow for a PowerPoint presentation in the house so that they could present their point of view on the finances.
It looked as if the Government was trying to allow a fruitful discussion in the house on the finances.
