Need for a Mini Lockdown?

The Union Government is of the opinion that there is a need for a mini lockdown in the states where the Coronavirus is uncontrollable. The figures are going up in many states.

There is every need for the areas to be kept under lockdown to prevent the movement of the people, in general, to arrest the situation for the time being.

The spurt of the incidents is expected by this month-end. It may not be an official lockdown, but the areas will be sealed. First, it will start with a night curfew followed by isolation of the areas.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ruled out the possibility of a lockdown in the areas of Telangana. The CS Someshkumar also clarified this account.

But the GHMC has identified areas to be kept under quarantine to arrest the situation. The vaccination is going on. The police are fining the people who are going outside without masks.

The gatherings have been banned. No festival celebrations, so on and forth. There is a chance of imposing lockdown in Pune. The Centre is monitoring the situation across the country.
