Natukodi costs Rs700 a KG

Today is Kanuma and there is a tradition that we must eat non-veg. There are reports from Andhra Pradesh that the Natu Kodi is being sold at Rs seven-hundred a KG.

There is a heavy rush at the non-veg shops. The Goat and sheep meat is costing around a thousand rupees a KG. The liquor is in full demand in both the Telugu states.

The cock meat which is brought from the cock fights is also costing very high and it is in thousands. Even before the festival, the non-veg was costly but Natu Kodi was not costly.

The essential commodities rates have also gone up. All the non-veg markets in Hyderabad and Secunderabad are busy apart from the liquor shops.

Being a Sunday people prefer Non-veg and all put together are markets are brimming with activity.
