National Mahila conference at Puttaparthi

The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India (SSSSO India) a multi cultural spiritual service Organisation from Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh announced the 1 st ‘All India Mahila Conference’ which will be held on 24 th to 25 th September 2016 at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh.

Meena Pimplapure – leading industrialist, a Philanthropist and Director –Mahila law college Bhopal, will inaugurate the Conference. Over 4,000 women delegates across India would be participating in this unique 2 day significant event. The event with the theme ‘Women – the foundation of a value based Society’ is aimed to synchronise the work done by women all over India and give them a new direction for the future. The event will aim at recognising the role of a woman in the seva activities and re energising a healthy society by giving them their right place. With the help of this theme, SSSSO India is trying to inject positivity to the role of women in the Indian society and give them the right confidence based on the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba.

The 2 day conference consists of various inspirational talks & workshops from the various wings of the Sathya Sai Seva Organizations like – Education Wing, Service wing, Spiritual Wing, Youth wing, IT wing &Disaster Management wing. Some of the well known women influencer’s like Ms Meena Pimplapure –leading industrialist, a Philanthropist and Director –Mahila law college Bhopal, Smt Kamala Pandya,National Coordinator Mahila Vibhag SSSSO India,Ms.Neeta Khanna and Smt Shashi Bala, will be addressing the gathering. Workshop from the Spiritual wing includes activities like devotional singing, study circles,

public lectures, seminars, meditation etc. The Educational wing activities cover ‘Bal Vikas’ (for children) and Education in Human Values Programmes, besides formal academic education combined with the develop ment of the character of the students for age group of 6 to 15. The Service activities include organizing medical check-up camps, adoption of under-developed villages for accelerating rural development, blood donation, old age homes, etc.

The event will provide a single platform for women delegates to share their valuable experience gained in their  respective States/Cities which will lead to discussions on many new and innovative service projects to be taken up across India. An exhibition will also be conducted to showcase handicrafts made and activities undertaken by women across India. Women are very actively involved in the service activities under various projects like Sri Sathya Sai Village Integration Project (SSSVIP), Deenajanodharana Project where orphans are taken care by Mahilas as foster mothers,etc.

Sri Nimish Pandya, All India President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations of India, said, “In the past 30 years over 1 lakh mahila Balvikas gurus have groomed 50 lakhs Balvikas children, which strongly proves that women are the backbone of SSSSO India.
