Our police received the award for the first position from Special Secretary Swagat Das, IPS, on 31-08-2022 for getting 1 st Position in the Country during ‘CCTNS HACKATHON & CYBER CHALLENGE 2022’ CyCAPS a customized in-house tool developed by Intelligence Department,recognized as the best IT Initiative in Crime Prevention & Detection developed by Telangana Police for PAN India Roll Out during NCRB
Hackathon 2022.
Already 24 States have joined this platform for exchanging Cyber Crime & Criminal information and for performing data analysis for identifying offenders, establishing Crime & Criminals Links across the states, yielding good results and highly appreciated by States.
Using CyCAPS tool, around (43) thousand interstate crime links are established against 650 offenders, arrested in 238 cases across the country and information shared to the concerned states through I4C.
