Shiv Sena division at Varanasi has been putting up posters in the city echoing BJP’s sentiments but in a quirky manner. The posters have impersonated mythological characters of Ramayana. So, while PM Narendra Modi is seen as Ram aiming for Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan PM. The Pak PM is shown as Ravana, the villain of the Ramayana. In between this, a caption reads ”One more surgical strike”.
It is reported that some fans of Modi are planning to erect Narakasura in the form of Pakistan PM Nawaj Sherif and Rama would be in form of Modi and he would leave an arrow and Narakusra would be engulfed in flames and Diwali crackers. This couldbe Dasara or Diwali it is reported.
Amidst all this is seen the AAP man Arvind Kejriwal as Meghnad, the son of Ravana who had foiled things in the Ram-Ravana war and ended up hurting his own contingent. Kejriwal is referred to as ‘Pakistani supporter’.
The posters have been put up aggressively in public areas and transports to show support to BJP.Narendra Modi has again managed to garner eyeballs with hitting the bull’s eye by Army’s surgical strikes across the LoC. Social media has been abuzz with praise on the Indian PM, faith on the BJP Government has been restored and the party is getting hopeful yet again for a good majority in upcoming polls.
While Modi has been receiving applause, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is being hugely criticised for his demand to see the proof of surgical strike. With BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and M Venkaiah Naidu lashing out at Kejriwal for trying to grab headlines and in the process demeaning the forces, another interesting thing is happening in the PM’s constituency Varanasi.
