Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Gandhi Jayanthi gave the four P Formula- Political leadership- public funding- partnerships and peoples participation to make the world a cleaner place and live and develop.
Addressing the youth at the Mahatma Gandhi International Sanitation Convention here at Delhi on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi, Modi thanked the global community for cooperating in Swatch Bharat and also curbing the production of non-biodegradable waste.
Modi said that it was the inspiration of Mahatma Gandhi that he launched a nationwide cleanliness drive, of which the 4 P mantra is an extension to it.
Modi was proud that the people are following the footsteps of Gandhiji, and that the Swachch Bharat mission has become the World biggest mass movement. He said that the 125 crore people are following the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and he is happy about that. He was hopeful that the people will follow the 4p mantra also for the betterment of the society.
