Srikantha Addala the upcoming director has not done anything special to the movie Asuran where Dhanush played the leading role. Dhanush did a great job in the movie.
But Venkatesh the hero in the Telugu version named Narappa has nothing special to watch. People have already watched the Asuran on OTT and they liked it very much.
Now the Telugu version has nothing new to attract the audience. The music is also copy-paste from the original version. Mani Sharma did not do anything for the original score.
So overall it is just a copy-paste version in Telugu. People who do not know about Asuran may like it. But they are not the OTT audience. The OTT watchers know about Asuran already.
But the makers in Telugu have made the money by selling it to the OTT. The film appears to have been produced on the lowest budget possible. The story itself is slow and becomes violent step by step.
One must have the patience to watch the entire movie. All the actors have done well and there is no proper direction for the movie. It is just another commercial venture from Suresh Productions.
