The sale of MAA buildings at a lower price has created a controversy in the filmi circles now during the MAA elections. Mohan Babu has questioned why a building purchased for around 70 lakhs was sold for just 30 lakhs.

Nagababu warned MohanBabu to ask the question to Sivaji Raja and Naresh. But Mohan Babu says that the MAA building was sold during the tenure of Naga babu.

Naga Babu said that he was the President but the decision to sell the building at a cheaper rate was taken by Naresh and Sivaji Raja. It was sold keeping the needs of those days in mind he explained.

He also warned Mohan Babu not to ask questions for which he was not responsible. Perhaps this is the first time that the MAA elections are leading to many controversies and some scams are coming out.

The people who have sold the building for one-third rate must explain as to where was the need for selling it and why at a reduced price. If the stars really want to help the poor artists and workers they can do it directly. They really need not depend on the so-called MAA.

The elections to MAA are due on 10nth October. There are 900 members in the association.
