It looks like Nagarjuna and Amala are supporting BJP. Are they taking forward the agenda of protecting and they are against the cow slaughter it looks like.

Both Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni are seen holding a placard or poster showing that one must protect the cow. That means they are against the cow slaughter and like the ban on cow slaughter.

Amala is animal lover and she has an organisation called blue cross where dogs and other animals are protected.
They are directly with the agenda of UP CM Yogi Adiyanath who has closed the illegal slaughter houses after taking over the CMs gaddi.

The Blue Cross of Hyderabad is an animal welfare Society founded in 1992 by Indian film actors Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni and animal friendly citizens. Blue Cross of Hyderabad was later registered as a society in 1993 and is recognized by Animal Welfare Board of India.

Located in Hyderabad, Blue Cross of Hyderabad presently runs a two-acre animal shelter from where 9 projects for the welfare of animals are conducted all year round, the campus is surrounded by hills and vast open spaces and houses over 650 animals of different species.

When it comes to politics Akkinenis were close to the people in power, but never joined or supported any party openly. Nags father Nageshwar Rao was always like a cat on a wall. Now it has to be seen if Nag would like to campaign for the BJP openly.
