Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao today stated that he will work for the empowerment of Dalits as he tried to sacrifice life for Telangana statehood.
‘I will strive hard until my last breath and the last drop of blood for empowering Dalits, the Chief Minister KCR said. He appealed to the people to support him to empower Dalits who were neglected by successive governments for seven decades.
Addressing the meeting after a review at Karimanagar collector office Ministers Harish Rao Kamalakar and Koppula, the chief minister reiterated to empower Dalits. Until my last drop of blood, I will strive for Dalits emancipation, KCR vowed.
The TRS government under the dynamic leadership of KCR released Rs 2000 crore for the Huzurabad segment to implement Dalit Bandhu as a pilot project.
The Chief Minister KCR earlier asked the ministers and the collector to ensure that Dalit Bandhu is implemented at the Huzurabad segment as said. We have promised to develop it by allocating Rs 10 lakh to each Dalit family he said.
