Shilpa Shetty, the wife of Raj Kundra said that there is a difference between ‘erotica’ and ‘pornography’, and said her husband was not involved in producing pornographic content.
Shilpa was given a clean chit by the cops who said that they couldn’t find any evidence against her or prove the fact that she was involved in the case. Now, as per a media report, she said that she was unaware of the content on Hotshots.
Lawyer Abad Ponda, while defending his client Raj Kundra made an argument in court that the content that was published on the app can be tagged as vulgar and not porn. This is not the first time that Raj has grabbed the limelight for the wrong reasons.
Back in 2013, it was reported that Raj was in touch with seven bookies and placed bets on his team through three IPL seasons. Both Raj and Shilpa owned a cricket team in the Indian Premier League that suffered a bad end because of the IPL betting case.
Earlier the Surat District Court sent a reminder to Sabarmati Jail authorities in Ahmedabad to produce underworld don Fazlur Rehman in court on October 17 during the hearing of an extortion case in which Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty was allegedly involved.
Sunanda appeared in the Surat court earlier in the case filed by Pankaj Agrawal, owner of Prafful sarees, Surat, against Sunanda Shetty, her husband Surendra Shetty, Fazlur Rehman and others in 2003.
