People are not consuming non-veg to the greatest extent. But due to Ramzan, the demand for Mutton has increased. The Non-veg eaters are not going for Chicken as they are bothered that it might cause them Corona.
The Chicken is ten times cheaper than the mutton. The Boneless mutton is coting around Rs 1000 per Kg. Perhaps this is the highest rate when compared to recent times.
All the commodities will be costly for the next one month time as there is a demand for all the essential commodities in the market. The lockdown has made the grocery sellers hike the rates. But Mutton is one commodity which is in great demand.
The sale of the eggs is also very less and people at the level of Chief ministers are campaigning that eating Eggs and Chicken will not cause Corona.
Th vegetables and fruits are also being sold at a higher rate. There is no one to monitor the rates of the essential commodities as such. The commodities are very costly at the Quarantine and Red zones of the Corona.
