Former Minister Muthyam Reddy who joined the TRS party recenttly has died in a private hospital here in Hyderabad. Chief Minister KCR and other Ministers were shocked to hear the news on the Vinayaka Chaturthi day.The final rites would be done with Government honours the Chief Minister declared.
He belonged to Dubakka of Siddipet and was close to former Minister Harish Rao. He was a senior Congress leader and could not achieve anything in the party. Later he joined the TRS and was expecting a plum post from the Chief Minister. In the meantime, his health deteriorated and he was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad.
He died due to illness it is reported. He was the Minister for civil supplies and was popular as a Cheruku Mutyam Reddy. He was in TDP first and was an MLA.Harish Rao posted that it was unfortunate that Mutyam reddy has died.
