Elon Mush the owner of Twitter tried to act smart by threatening the employees and setting a deadline to agree to the extra hours.

By the deadline, 5 p.m. Eastern time, hundreds of Twitter employees appeared to have decided to depart with three months of severance pay, the people said.

Twitter later announced via email that it would close “our office buildings” and disable employee badge access until Monday.

The exits added to the turmoil at Twitter since Mr. Musk, 51, completed his takeover last month. The billionaire has sent out half of Twitter’s 7,500 full-time workers,

told employees that they need to be “extremely hardcore” to make the company a success.

There were reports that Twitter was in deep financial trouble and he wants to bring it back into profits by reducing the staff and getting the work done with the remaining staff.

But now the situation is so bad that someone has posted a graveyard photo in place of twitter.

So it looks like Mush dug his own grave by reducing the staff and trying to threaten the staff.
