Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav has been admitted to the ICU ward of Gurgram’s Medanta Hospital after a decline in his health.
The 82-year-old former Uttar Pradesh chief minister was admitted for several days but has been shifted to the care unit after his condition deteriorated on Sunday.
He was admitted to the hospital after a serious health condition and his medical status is said to be stable at present.
Mulayam was facing breathing difficulties and is under the supervision of Internal Medicine expert Dr Sushila Kataria, currently at the hospital.
Singh has been suffering from a urinary infection as well, the doctors said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and enquired about Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health.
He also said that he was there to help with whatever assistance that will be required.The Samajwadi Party acknowledged the development on Twitter and said that Mulayam Singh Yadav’s condition was stable.
