For the first time in the History of TTD Mukkoti Ekadasi is being celebrated for 10 days. TTD board members say that the idea is to see that more number of pilgrims participate in the event as it is being done for 10 days.

Around 2 lakh tickets were released online for Ekadasi Darshanam. Daily 20000 tickets are kept online for the sake of pilgrims. The tickets are available from December 25 to January 3.

Children below 10 and Senior citizens above 60 are also allowed for the TTD darshan despite Covidconditions. The TTD has appealed to the pilgrims to care of the health by self discipline and wearing masks apart from maintaining distance.

While the pilgrims in general, are happy with the decision of the TTD, some religious people are questioning at the way Mukkoti Ekadasi is being stretched for 10 days. This is nothing but commercial they condemned.

Due to Covid conditions, some restrictions were followed on Tirumala. But in the name of Mukkoti Ekadasi people of all ages are being allowed for Darshan.

But people with masks only are allowed for the Lord Balaji Darshan.
