TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar planted saplings here at Jalavihar as part of the one crore sapling program on the eve of the Birthday of KCR the CM of Telangana.
There is an overwhelming response for the call given by Santosh to the people of the state for planting one crore saplings in one hour.
The program is called as the Kotivruksharchana. People from across the world are participating in this program. This is being done as part of Green India Challenge where around 6 crore saplings have already been planed by the people.
A blood donation camp was held here at the TRS Bhavan which was launched by KTR the Minister for IT. Some Ministers and MLAs participated and donated blood.
Minister Talansai Yadav performed special puja here at the Balkampet temple and offered a gold saree weighing 2.5 kg gold.
Several songs were launched in praise of KCR. Film stars Mahesh,Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna have suggested people to plant saplings for KCR.
